The Painting Process

To ensure a beautiful and durable finish, my painting process includes:

1) Scrubbing every inch of the surfaces that will be painted.  This step removes oils from fingerprints, etc.
2) Scuff sanding for proper adhesion of paint.
3) Wood filler is applied to scratches, then sanded smooth.

3) Priming- this step ensures great paint adhesion and highlights any surface imperfections that haven't been filled and sanded.
4) 3-4 coats of paint are sprayed for a smooth, lustrous finish
5) 2-3 coats of water based sealer are applied for durability

These steps provide a sleek and hard wearing finish that will last for years with proper care.
